Megan’s love of afternoon tea inspired this elegant bridal shower. We gathered at The Culver Hotel in Harry Culver’s Office for our festivities. Look at that beautiful ceiling! I really wanted the shower to reflect the bride and all her favorite things.
Mimosas, great friends, fun games, & delicious food!
Megan & Nick love to cook and grow a lot of their own veggies and herbs. Five different herbs were passed around and the guest who correctly identified the most, won the herbs! We planted the herbs in tea tins to keep with our tea theme.
Various other games were played, how well do you know the bride & questions about wedding traditions. Each gift is wrapped with silver & white paper to coordinate with the room, happily ever after ribbon, and a “diamond” ring.
We used this vintage tea cart for our beautiful cake. A delicious vanilla cake filled with fresh fruit and whipped cream. I made a peach & pink tassel garland and added a special thank you to all the women who contributed to the shower. A cheeky cake topper adds a bit of personality!
No bridal shower is complete without a mountain of gifts to open. We set our bride up in this vintage red ruby slipper chair and made her feel like a princess!
